Le syntype du ZNMH est en fait un tatilista de Cuba.
Synonymes: caerulea Godman & Salvin 1877: décrite du Guatemala avec du bleu violet et le verso plus foncé. Godman & Salvin l'ont eux-même synonymisé en 1883.
